New helmet with internal rubber shock absorbers from Bell and 6D

The Sena helmet thread lead me to these on lanesplitter.

Two new helmet designs that both have internal rubber shock absorbers between two shells.

One is from 6D the other is from Bell.

2015 ZX10R Two Brother Racing exhaust system

I'm looking to install Two Brothers Racing, Black Series Cat-Eliminator Slip-On Exhaust Systems - M-2 Titanium Canister. This system appears to eliminate the Cat but does not refer to any tuning/mapping/flashing computer etc. After installation they go on to say " Run the bike and enjoy". Can this be realistic or should the bike be tuned for the new upgrade? The web site provides no details in this regard.

Your best moment riding 2015

What is your standout moment, the moment when you realize how incredibly lucky you are to be doing this?
The very best moment came on a gravel road heading north to the Creemore area. Sensational weather and scenery. Crested a hill, start charging down the other side. What's that way up there on the left? Wow, a long haired lass in a floral dress, country style. She cocked her head. She hears me coming. She's going to wave as I pass, no if ands or buts. I passed her at speed, her timing impeccable as she raised her arm and twirled her hand like the Queen of England. Gawd she was gorgeous. A great moment on a great day:cool:

Is this fertile CM? WARNING: Picture!!

Sorry for the TMI picture but I'm frustrated and need help. Its my first month on Clomid. I've never really had changes in CM before this month (I'm usually pretty dry) and I'm assuming it's from the clomid. I started getting CM that looks like this on CD17 and got my first blinky smily face CD18 (clearblue advanced digital). But am now on CD 21 and no solid smily face yet. The type of CM mucus in the picture has subsided and I am now dryer. Is the CM in this picture fertile CM or should in be more watery? I see conflicting things on the internet. If it is fertile CM...why did I not get a solid smily face?? I have also been doing dollars store OPKs and did not get a positive. Ugh, so frustrated. Thanks!

Newly diagnosed with PCOS

Hi my name is jada. About a month ago I was diagnosed with PCOS. I've been reading all about it but naturally at first I was kind of freaking out. I don't really have anybody to talk to about it that truly understand what I'm going through. I need all the help and support I can get. So any advice anyone can give me or tips or anything like that is greatly appreciated :)

Used Bike - Registration/Insurance Confusion

Hello everyone,

I just purchased a used bike and will have to register it and was advised to insure it before the new insurance system at State Farm kicks in. I've been doing a lot of reading around this forum and the MTO website and I am just confused now.

I have:
- UVIP
- Safety certificate
- Vehicle portion half of the ownership with transfer details on the back filled out.

I know I have to get insurance first. Is the vehicle portion half with the transfer details filled out enough for me to claim ownership to this bike? My insurance agent said she needs my license, ownership, and VIN. She also wants me to ride it there once insured/registered so she can take a photo.

Once insured, I can go get it plated correct? I go with UVIP, safety, vehicle portion of ownership, insurance, and license. I know I pay taxes at this point.

Then I go riding for a week before I put it away. Thanks for clarifying for someone who has never bought a used bike before. Hopefully I'm not missing anything!

The pill + PCOS, Will my breasts get bigger?

Hello! I was diagnosed with PCOS 3 months ago. I had hopped around from 3 different gynos until one finally told me I had PCOS instead of the ' well your estrogen and progesterone levels are low'. I have always been self-conscious about my breast size. I know that I shouldn't be and that I should be happy with who I am...but there are good days and bad days. My main question is: Will my breasts get larger while taking birth control pills? I am 19 y/o and have been taking tri-sprintec and getting regular periods for the past 3 months. I am also not overweight. A little background:
I got my first 'period' at 14, with only a little bleeding, no cramps, headache or any of the other common PMS symptoms. After that, nothing, no normal periods, or any periods at all. After a year and a half, I went to the Ob/Gyn and she told me my levels of estrogen and progesterone were low, while my testosterone was high. I had a lot of acne too, which has finally begun to fade after taking the tri-sprintec regularly. My breasts are a 34A. Because of the timing of my irregularities, could PCOS have halted puberty for me? And could taking Tri-sprintec jump start that process again for me? Please let me know what you think, especially if you have been in my situation!
Thank you!

Thoughts on Preseed?

Hey everyone! I bought preseed today and then went home and researched ( probably should have done that the other way around). Well, I saw some YouTube videos that showed preseed actually inhibiting sperm from swimming. I certainly don't want to use it if it will make things harder on us. If you can answer any of the following questions, I would be so appreciative!

Do you use it?
Have you had success with preseed?
Has a doctor recommended it?
Do you think it is helpful if a woman already makes CM?
Any tips?

DH has a REALLY low count. We are waiting for it to boost, however, we know he has a couple swimmers, but not enough to get the job done. Just looking for anything to help us out.

1st round of Letrozole - Doubled up?!?!

Hi Ladies,

So here's what's gone on. (I'm hoping this is more common than I think it is!) I've such mixed emotions right now. :/

I did 5 mg of Letrozole(Femara) on cycle days 3-7. Today is day 14 and I went in for an ultrasound to see if it's working or if I'm just about ready to ovulate. Well, there was 1 follicle that measured around 9.7 mm, 2 that were in the 8 mm range, and 1 that was around 5mm. The doc said that this was actually good news and that I needed to do another 5 days of 5 mg of Letrozole, and come back in on day 5 to have another ultrasound done. That this is common to do with us ladies with PCOS. Has anyone else had to do 10 days total within the same cycle of Letrozole?

Thanks in advance.

RSV4 RF vs. R1M

Seems pretty damned divisive to me still... Baron Von Grumble is mostly a street rider and Al Fagan is a British Super Bike racer as well as a Fast Bikes journalist tester. Pick your poison...

Notes: the european R1 has a lot more power than the north american version, at least before restrictions are removed, and the euro RF does not have magnesium case covers or carbon fiber trim unlike the RF Factory sold here, so is a bit heavier.

Consult and future decisions

Hi ladies...I have s consult on Tuesday with the re to discuss my tsh level that was 3.5 and is now down to 1 after being on Bromocriptine for high prolactin. I want to ask her if I can stay on the Bromocriptine if I were to get pregnant for the first trimester if it will keep my thyroid down but I am afraid she will say no. Has anyone taken this during pregnancy?

Also so I want to discuss with her what to do next if this third IUI is a bfn! I am so emotionally exhausted from infertility that if it doesn't work we are thinking about my daughter being an only child. I am ok with this for a bit and then I feel like I would always desire another child.....
if we did decide to do more treatments would you guys go for more IUIs or head on to ivf? My insurance covers ivf after two failed IUIs but I am TERRIFIED of ivf ...mostly of the egg retrieval and the sedation part of it. Ugh sorry for this post ! I think it is more of me venting /thinking out loud ...but if anyone has anything to add go for it! :)

Do I have PCOS

I had high prolactin as a young woman.
I had trouble getting pregnant without taking meds for the prolactin.
The doctor gave me progesterone pills to conceive before my first child but not for my other two kids.
I had hairy legs, arms , and a fuzzy face ( light peach fuzz ) before my period started at age 11.
Since I became overweight being 167 and 5'3 my cholesterol levels are high.
My triglycerides are higher than they should be.
Do I have PCOS? If In do should I try and go back to my normal weight to reduce hirsutism and prevent more hair growth?
BTw, I had laser done on my thick sideburns and chin hairs and that was ten years ago so they say women with high androgens usually grow the hair back.
Premarin which is estrogen made my hirsutism 10 times worse.
I am going to get my hormones checked soon but I will never take any birth control pills.
I am going to try to lose ten pounds to see if it helps with my hirsutism.
I am trying to eat less sugary sweets and carbs.
I am sick and tired of not knowing the answers to my symptoms.
I am sick and tired of taking herbs that don't help.

Kill someone, minor fine

I've heard of low fines for drivers killing people, but was not aware of cases in Canada. Well, here we go. $2000 fine and a 3 month driving ban for killing a pedestrian in a crosswalk. Obviously, motorcyclists can be subject to the same vagaries.

A couple of Bentleys

Two menacing-looking Bentleys, parked at the side of the road on a deserted moor on Halloween.

I started with a picture of a Mulsanne and a Continental GT parked next to each other, and effectively all I did was swap the roofs of the two cars to give each car an extra bodystyle to add to the range.

The Mulsanne GT is my idea for a 4-door coupé version of the standard Mulsanne, for buyers who like the Mulsanne's space and comfort but also like the sportier style of a 2-door GT. In my world, it would be the big brother to the Barnato GT in Bentley's growing line-up.

Up until around the 1990s, it wasn't uncommon for manufacturers to offer - in addition to the standard coupé and convertible variants - a 2-door hardtop option, which often were not marketed as coupés. And that's what I tried to bring back in this picture. I think the shorter squarer roofline simplifies the rear of the car, bringing the theoretical "visual centre of mass" closer to the middle of the car. I haven't decided on a name for this one yet. Possibly Continental HT for Hard Top? Or maybe it could be known as simply the Continental, with the existing bodystyle continuing as the Continental GT.

Metformin and no period! what's going on?

Hope someone can help. I stopped my birth control in Sept. On the 20th to be exact. I took it for 12 years to control my pcos symptoms, hairloss, acne, horrible periods. I was a normal weight before the pill. Not too thin not heavy. While on the pill I gained 40 pounds, and my hairloss got worse. But my acne went away and my period was normal. I had to go off the pill because I was having horrible vaginal infections every month and my skin was literally tearing open during sex from being so dry. Anyways, I had a withdrawal bleed that lasted for 8 days then stopped and my doctor put me on metformin 500mg three times a day to help with pcos symptoms and to eventually try to concieve. Since the withdrawl bleed no period! I just had weird symptoms like crying for no reason and really sore breasts that went away after two weeks. I took two pregnancy tests. Both negative. Is my cycle just wacky because of going of the pill or could it be the metformin ? I really don't want to call my doctor and bug him with something like this if it's nothing to really worry about.

M1 Insurance?

Hello everyone,

How much would it cost for a 16-20 year old with a ninja 250 for insurance?
Is it possible to pay for 1 -2 seasons or does it have to be annually?
Is there a big difference between M1 and M2 insurance rates?
MSF course will be done as well.

Anyone have experience with this?

I know i should be calling insurance companies but when i can they're always busy.

Thank you!

20 years ago tonight -- in Montreal.

20 years ago tonight was the Quebec referendum. Where were you?

I had just finished basic training at Base Ste. Jean-Sur-Richelieu and was on leave awaiting transfer to Petawawa for battle school. I met my brother in Montreal that night, had a few beers at a bar watching the referendum coverage and then followed the crowds who were turning over cars, lighting signs on fire, breaking store windows, fighting, etc...

We followed this crowd until buses of police in riot gear showed up... then high-tailed it back to the hotel. I'll never forget that night and am pretty glad I kept my anglophone mouth shut.

Agave, were you one of the rioters?

Last few blasts for this year - who wants to ride?

Looking to ride this Sunday and at least one other day during this coming week. The weather is so-so for Sunday but Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday are mid to high teens temperatures so I don't care about who had to work and other real-life crap - who wants to ride?

Sunday will either be the hockley - Creemore and back routes or the oak ridges trail system that begins near the Toronto zoo (morningside and Shepard area) all the way east to the far side of ganaraska and back. I haven't personally done this ride but will be riding with a friend who knows it well and he has described it as a nice gravel and trail ride that takes you east of the city and back.

Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday will definitely be the hockley - Creemore ride especially if we end up doing the oak ridges (either with or without sections of the Bethany ride) and the ride will likely be on Tuesday.

So - who's interested? Small bikes, big bikes - I don't care as long as you're wearing some armour and your bike is sporting knobbies (or similar) for the terrain.

Red Light Camera Ticket - Not in Photo

Well I got a ticket in the mail today for a failing to stop at a red light. Few things though...

The first photo is of my vehicle (behind the white line) with brake lights on and a car in the intersection making a left hand turn on the red.

The second photo is of an empty intersection (no car shown), assuming my vehicle made a right turn (not sure no one can remember since photo was take 2 weeks ago)

The camera says my vehicle was travelling 38/km/hr but I can't see how you could do that making a tight 90 degree turn (and beat the red light cameras second photo)

Do i have a chance at fighting this ticket?

Any thoughts/opinions are appreciated.

What constitutes a rear fender?

I understand that a rear fender is needed, but how big does it need to be for it to be considered one?

I am panning on making a DIY fender eliminator to get rid of the chunk of plastic hanging off my bike, but I do not want to be getting pulled over for it. I understand the best option is to just leave it be but its just so ugly.

Question about body protectors

Hi. How is everyone?

I am not a new rider quite yet but am planning on getting a bike for the spring in 2016. I've decided to get a Yamaha R3 for my first bike. On to my question though. I am trying to make a list of gear and such that I'm going to be getting too. I came across this http://ift.tt/1Mn9H01 and was wondering can you wear a jacket over these under-protectors? Probably sounds like a pretty stupid question but I want to be as safe as possible and warm at the same time in fall and spring haha. Seems these are all meshed. I know some jackets have armour in them as well but I haven't seen any with spinal protection or with as much armour as these under-protectors.

Any answers or advice would be much appreciated!

Three Brazilian Pan Am athletes wanted for alleged sex assaults in TO

Assaults happened at the end of the PanAm games.

Three of them? Just a coincidence?

* Andrey Da Silva Ventura, a goalkeeper with Brazil’s national team, is now wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for sexual assault.
* Lucas Domingues Piazon, a forward with Chelsea F.C., is wanted on an Ontario-wide warrant for sexual assault.
* Also, there was already a warrant for Thye Mattos Ventura Bezerra, water polo goalkeeper, for sexual assault.

Failed IUI and poor stim

I had my first IUI on 10-2 and resulted in BFN with Clomid and Follistim. This cycle we tried Gonal F only and after 7 days of alternating injections of 125iu/150iu I only had 2 follicles < 10mm so we cancelled the cycle. Does anyone else have poor stim response, but plenty of egg reserve? I am at a total loss and just don't know what else to do. We are all self pay and don't have unlimited funds. I have been thinking about taking the holidays off; however I turn 40 in November. I could afford to lose some weight. I am just all over the place about options on what I need to do. I am also going to see another RE before we start again since my dr is so against Femera and I have PCOS. Any advice would be appreciated.

Looking to do some last riding for the year, hoping for some riding companions?

Hey guys,

As title says I'm looking to get some last minute riding in this year. Luckily I havn't put the bike in storage yet, I thought the nice weather was pretty much over, but long-range forecast shows this week coming up is going to have some decent daytime temperatures. High of 15c for monday/tuesday and thursday, and a high of 18 on wednesday! Now normally 15c is a bit chilly for me on the bike with my gear, but considering how this could be the last I'll be able to ride untill next spring/summer, I need to take advantage of it.

Anyways, I'm located around Collingwood, but I don't mind commuting abit to meet up. This is a nice area for riding if anyone isnt to far away and wants to come ride around here. I could ride out to Barrie or Owen Sound.

Another possibility is I need to see a newly born nephew that is down in Waterloo area, so I could maby ride down that way to.

So that dates I'm looking at are monday through to thursday, with a preference for wednesday. Let me know if you want to go for a cruise/ride! :)

REMOVING the political discussion out of it (e.g. Liberal haters, Conservative Trollers, etc.)

Unless your head is in the sand the government is planning on selling Hydro One ...

http://ift.tt/1M6cDCz

On the face of it, it seems like a dumb idea. Relevant points I am understanding :
- 60% gone for 1.83 billion towards transit
- 700 million / yr into the provincial coffers reduced by 60%
- a net loss to our treasury of roughly 420 million / yr
- though we still get 280 million from the remaining 40% that is owned by the province

However ... after not being able to sleep well last night I got to thinking about it and it is actually not a totally bad idea ... based on my recollection of this article

http://ift.tt/1M6cDCB

so the net loss due to congestion is somewhere between 6 billion and high as 11 billion / yr

if we pump the 1.83 billion in capital gained from the sale into the transit plus whatever else they are spending
- Lets just say they are able to put a 20% dent into the congestion costs for T.O.
- that means that we have a reduced congestion cost by 1.2 billion to 2.2 billion
- this would mean the 420 million loss to the treasury is countered by the 1.2 and 2.2 billion congestion reduction cost
- so we would in effect have a net positive gain of between 780 million to 1.78 billion

- the numbers still seem to work in our favor even if they only reduce congestion by 10% ...

thoughts ?

Please help Me! IVF.

I had my egg retrieval on Monday. On Tuesday (day 1), I was told 19 eggs were retrieved, 9 eggs were mature, & 7 had fertilized with ICSI. On Wednesday (day 2), I was told 3 of my embryos were looking great, 3 were a little behind those great ones, & 1 wasn't doing too well. My clinic does not call on day 3 or day 4 because they do not open the incubator on those days, something about compromising the developing embryos.

I'm so afraid none of my embryos will make it to day 5 transfer or that their quality will be horrible. I'm 29 years old with PCOS. I keep reading that egg quality is bad in women with PCOS. I feel like I have no chance. I'm on the verge of tears or having a panic attack. I keep envisioning the clinic calling me tomorrow to let me know none of my embryos have made it or getting there and being told the quality of the embryos is horrible. I'm seriously freaking out... :(

Is this likely to happen???

Good morning!

My name is Miranda and I'm new around here.
My husband and I tried to get pregnant for two years and last month we finally met with an RE.
We are starting our first cycle of monitored Clomid with IUI as soon as CD1 hits. I started Provera today to help with that.
I'm not sure where to start around here, but I would love to be an active member of these boards, so any help or a hint on what direction to go in would be lovely!

I look forward to getting to know you ladies!!

Help the charting-challenged

I know I should temp, but I end up doing it the lazy way -- only for a few days around O to confirm I did O, and then toward the end to see if AF is on her way. Seems like 97 point anything is pre-O and 98 point anything is post-0. If it falls under 98, AF is coming.

Morning of IUI (Tues): 97.7
Wed: 98.1
Thurs: 98.2
Fri: 97.8

What? Why would it go under 98? I have no idea what to make of this. Obviously I would have more context if I did the full TCOYF method with a coverline, etc, but still, seems like the temps shouldn't dip like this in the 2nd half of the cycle.

Anyone?

Help the charting-challenged

Just trying to understand my initial diagnosis. Can someone help?

If you have read my posts before, you will know that I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2006. I was an overweight child and teen. No matter what I tried, I couldnt' seem to get my weight down. I am 5'4" and hovered around 150-160lbs despite my mom's many attempts to put me on a diet. My cycle started late at the age of 14 or 15 and was never regular. I started getting noticeable (though light coloured) facial hair when puberty started. I still when I was 12 my sister ran through the house telling everyone that I had a mustache.

I started exercising regularly for fun and stress management in university and started eating better and for the first time ever I lost weight. But my cycle was still highly irregular. In fact, in university, I would often get my cycle every week or two and bleed for 2-4 weeks at a time. It was awful. I also started getting long darkish hairs on jawline and under my chin that I plugged. I was already trimming my "mustache" with scissors on a daily or every other day basis. I saw the campus health care provider about my cycle and was instantly put on the BCP (no blood work was done). I was on the BCP from 2000-2005.

During that time weight loss was a breeze! I did end up with an eating disorder and got down to 100lbs at 5'4" and my cycle completely disappeared. I came back from that my weight sort of stabilized at around 130lbs. I was still on the BCP and my cycle was back to being regulated by it.

Then in 2006 I went of the pill as my boyfriend at the time and I decided we wanted to try to have a baby. My weight became unstable again. I struggled with binge eating - especially on carbs and sugar. 3 months after coming off the pill I still hadn't had any signs that my body was gearing up to ovulate. Then in September, 4 months after being off the pill, I ended up in the ER with a ruptured ovarian cyst.

My health was put into the hands of a gynecologist who wanted to address the cause of the cyst. She took my history. I told her about my irregular periods and the facial hair. I also told her about my eating disorder. She sent me for blood work and an ultrasound. Here is what both showed:

Ultrasound
Feb 2, 2006
right ovary: 4x1.9x3.3cm, volume 12.54
left ovary: 3.5x2.8x1.8, volume 9
volumes normal
rounded appearance, more than five follicles in each ovary predominantly situated peripherally
increase in stromoal echogenicity

Bloodwork
FSH 7 iu/l
LH 2 iu/l
prolactin 5 ug/l
total testosterone 141 ng/dl
free testosterone 1.1 pgml
fasting insulin 5.9 uiu/ml
TSH 2.49 miu/l

She told me my Lh:FSH ratio, my ultrasound results, and my high total testosterone along with my hair growth and the results of my ultrasound all indicated I had PCOS.

She told me i'd never get pregnant on my own and that I needed to either take the BCP or use provera every 3 months if I didn't get my cycle on my own. She also told me that diet, exercise and weight loss were crucial in improving PCOS symptoms. Even though I was a normal weight (130lbs at 5'4"), she told me a 10% reduction in my weight could change my hormonal profile dramatically.

For past 9 years I have used diet and exercise to "manage" my PCOS. My cycles are still irregular (36-90 days long). I have had my hormones retested at regular intervals and my testosterone has come back within the normal range each time (though my LH:FSH ratio is still off). I have been pregnant three times, all naturally (1 ended in miscarriage, 1 is now a happy 18 month old and I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant).

My question: was my initial diagnosis correct?
Knowing what I know about PCOS now, I would say it probably is, but I'm curious because my blood has all been normal since July 2008 (which is the last time my testosterone came back high - during a period of less controlled eating and weight gain). But my free testosterone has never been high and I thought that in PCOS it is usually high? I have been tested for NCAH and that came back negative. Does the criteria used for my initial diagnosis clearly show PCOS?

Just trying to understand my initial diagnosis. Can someone help?

Hockley - Creemore ride planning

Time is ticking away with worse weather and colder temps arriving daily. I'd like to do this route at least twice more this season before calling it quits for the year. I'm looking at either this Saturday or Sunday for a ride plus one day during next week. Given the cold mornings, I'm probably looking at 10:30 or 11:00 am starts in hockley valley, arriving in Creemore about two hours later for a late lunch and then about two hours or so coming back (the routes there are not the same as the ones coming back so it's worth joining for the whole ride). Creemore has lots to offer in terms of lunch spots and there's plenty of fuel to buy there. Any bike can reach Creemore of its fully fuelled when we begin (fuel is available at airport road and highway 9 which is a ten minute drive from the starting location).
What to expect from the routes:
1- lots of straight and twisty gravel that is used to avoid pavement and connect from one trail section to the next
2- some pavement like about 4 minutes on hockley valley road, about seven minutes on river road and one or two other paved sections plus some pavement going in and out of Creemore so if you're not blue plated, you're responsible for your own risk - technically you need to be blue plated for the gravel and trails as well but we rarely ever run into other people and/or riders and the authorities
3- there will be mud - it's been raining with nearly zero warmth and sun to dry things up. Riding in a group helps make riding through mud more manageable given that we will get stuck here and there
4- trails will have a ton of wet leaf coverage - this hides rocks and other obstacles on the trails. We will not be riding some crazy race-pace, just trying to get some quality riding in before the big-chill
5- there are a few sandy ascents - the wet weather actually makes these easier to manage. If you hate sand, you'll hate it less now
6- there are a few rocky ascents and descents - some of those hills with "potato rocks" and one particular descent with sharp shale rock and lots of slippery crab apples (not terribly challenging, just take your time)
7- there's an optional route section that takes us into a forest for some single track - the route itself through there takes fifteen minutes but there are many more single tracks in there if we decide to spend more time in there. Tight, narrow forest loam / dirt with so,e small but steep ascents and descents and narrow passes between trees. You'll need some clutch feathering skills and good balance but it's not terribly hard and very very fun
8- there are some downed trees across parts of the trails - I have generally jumped over most of these easily but there are two places in particular where the trees are massive and we have found ways around them (Nam actually caught one of those in his video that he posted) - no big deal and we are a group and will help each other for anyone who is challenged

thats it - chime in if you're interested and indicate which day this weekend plus which day during next week you prefer. I can share the route files with anyone in advance of the ride. If you use a Garmin GPS, it will just populate with all the proper waypoints, etc. if you use something else like an apple or android based device but you still want the route, download a GPX viewer app (I have one on my iPad and it's really good) so you'll have it on your device. Don't worry if you're a bit of a newbie, we are not racing and you won't be holding anyone back. Just be sure that whatever you're riding has appropriate tires and that you're appropriately prepared with armours, guards, etc protecting your body.

I got the itch

Gotta get me a nice dual sport. Ktm adventure is a sweet machine...now the question. Should I wait till I can afford a used stock 990 or 1100 (?). Or will the 950 be just fine. I wanna hear from the ones that ride these bikes in our back yard and not some desert tester off the Internet. Also what do you consider acceptable milage for these twins. What's high low? I wanna do some planning and starts with your stories.. help a the lone 640 single lc4 jump into the lc8 twin world!

to give you hope TTC

I was obsessed with this website from 2004 to 2006 when I was trying to conceive our first child. I would like to share my story to give you hope. I had severe PCOS and a blocked tube and it took us two years to conceive. I took Metformin, Clomid and had IUI and we managed to conceive on our second round of IUI, having thought we would never be able to have children! I then took Metformin and Utrogestan for the first 12 weeks and had hormone injections every other day. For the next child, this did not work so I had ovarian drilling at the same time as having two large cysts removed from my ovaries. The ovarian drilling was so successful and number two was conceived the following month! Number three is a true miracle; I think it was maybe because I was more relaxed, I ovulated for the first time by myself! We have three healthy, gorgeous children when we thought we would never have any. Hang on in there as you never know what is round the next corner! I found that positive thinking makes a huge difference! Good luck!!

diagnosed this morning...

ok so idk how to do this or if this is the right way to do this but I was diagnosed with partial PCOS this morning and I'm having trouble understanding everything I'm trying my best and I know the basics but idk much else I have an appt with my OB on Tuesday but I really need some answers... What do I expect now?... Are children really possible? Will my boyfriend ever truly understand?... I have no present cysts because mine all ruptured but I'm having very bad left ovary pain and my doctor can't tell me why what can cause this from fellow cysters? How do y'all deal with the exhaustion and mood problems? And this is the one I'm most embarrassed to ask but I have to shave my face at leasto once every couple of days... I know its a normal symptom of PCOS but should I have to do it this often or what? Sorry I know its a lot of questions but I'm really new to this and don't understand what's going on and how to proceed from here. Thank y'all in advance I have felt so alone and knowing I may not be as alone as I pictured is really inspiring to me

Please help!

I'm 33, I took Femara 5mg this month and I do bbt. The advanced opks seemed to perfectly coincide with a temp rise. Yesterday, 3dpo, and today, 4dpo, I got another "high" OPK. 1-2dpo were "low". I also had a dip in temp today. So what's right? BBT? Opks? I've been ttc for 1.5 yrs and I'm so over it. I think I've attached my chart.

Progesterone levels with Femara

Hi ladies!

Just wondering if any of you have had success with upping your progesterone levels when you up'd your Femara dose? If that makes any sense... So last cycle I was on 5mg CD 3-7 and my 7dpo progesterone level was only 7.2. This cycle I took 7.5mg CD 3-7 and I am currently 4dpo, but I am not feeling nearly the same symptoms as last cycle. So I am worried it may be even lower. Any advice/stories would be great! Thanks!

2006 GS500F stolen from yonge and finch condo lot

sad day today, my trusty GS500 was stolen from underground parking lot at yonge and finch. I know this is not uncommon but thought i should share and warn others in the area to chain up your bike if you can!

details of my baby were:

2006 white / blue GS500F
metallic blue bar ends
R&G frame sliders
soft saddle bags filled with extra riding gear and oil.
GTAM sticker on back fender
brand new bridgestone tires (not even 100kms on these...)

so sad...

Treating PCOS as an ethical vegan?

Does anyone have any resources for this? I've tried searching the forum a bit, but didn't find anything from my keywords.

I know that vegans are a small percent of the population and an even smaller percent of the PCOS community.

Hoping there may be a couple who will reach out!

I've been dairy and egg free for years, first I still ate fish and fowl, then just fish, then this year I went vegan.

I had a doctor's appointment today and he wanted to put me on one supplement but then remembered I was vegan. It is hopefully something I can get from a few changes in what veggies I eat.

Hey Everyone,

Just thought I'd introduce myself! My name is Joe. I'm 22 and I have a 2015 Honda CBR600RR.

A bit about me. I've been riding bikes for 10 years now, snowmobiles for 20 coming on 21 years this winter, atv's for 17 years. I've had 6 bikes over those 10 years.

1985 Honda XR 80
2006 Suzuki DRZ 125L
2008 Yamaha WR 250 X (used as an offroad bike)
2011 KTM 350 SXF
2014 Kawasaki Ninja 300 SE
2015 Honda CBR 600RR

I started riding on the street this year. I bought a Ninja 300 in March. I put 3100 kms on it between then and august. I really had wanted a 600, but due to insurance that wasn't an option. The 300 was a great starter bike. I learned a ton on it. My issue was that it wasn't quick enough for me. Coming from a KTM 350 SXF on dirt the Ninja was a dog!

In August I purchase a 2015 CBR 600RR. I got a great deal on it and insurance was reasonable so I went for it. Since then I have put 2700 kms on that bike and I love it.

The differences that I like compared to the Ninja are:
  • Much more stable
  • Doesn't get pushed around by the wind
  • Much quicker (I like quickness I a bike, I don't really care about it's top speed.)
  • Wind noise was reduced
  • Much nicer to ride in the corners
  • Lower RPM on the 400 series and ability to get out of cagers much quicker

Looking forward to learning from you all and hopefully helpingalong the way!

Bleeding During/After Sex

So as the title implies, I've had quite a bit of brown blood during and after sex the last two times. It's enough to be messy and then when I use the bathroom after, it tints the water and takes a considerable amount of tp to get cleaned up. I've heard that a tiny bit of brown spotting is normal, but it this much normal? It's not a flow of blood at all, and in fact it tapers off over the next hours (20 hrs the first time and about 6 the last time). I'm also putting in a call to my doctor, but I didn't know if any of you had experience with this.

The second part of my question involves relationships. I feel horrible that I don't really want to have sex now at all. Also, everything is very tender and things can get painful. I don't want to deny DH, but I don't want to deal with the stress and worry that comes with the bleeding. Any suggestions? I know we can do other things, but we've always had a good sex life and this is throwing both of us off. Thanks for any help.

Need to winterize your bike? Here is a list of things to do

Every year theres threads about what to do in order to winterize your bike, so I've compiled a checklist of what I've normally done, to make things easier for people doing it for the first time. If you guys have anything you wish to add, post below and I will add it in.
DO:

1. Top up the gas tank (preferably shell 91, as it has no ethanol)
2. Add fuel stabilizer from Canadian Tire
3. Run the bike for a few mins to get the fuel stabilizer through the system. (Note: If you have a carbureted bike, you may want to drain the float bowls)
4. Change the oil + filter. No, you don’t need to change the oil again in the spring unless you are paranoid and rich.
5. Wash + wax
6. Clean and lube the chain
7. Put the battery on a Battery Tender. You can pick one up at Canadian tire.
8. Optional: put bike on stands to keep tires off the ground. Tires on the ground wont do any damage either, perhaps move it a few feet every few weeks if you are concerned
9. Cover the exhaust hole with a sock to keep critters out

DON’T:
1. Start the bike during the winter to “warm it up”. Unless you reach full operational temperature, moisture will develop. Just leave it alone.

Power Cruisers (Victory Vegas, M109R, etc) - Options and Opinions

Seriously considering adding a power cruiser to the garage (the current two bikes are staying). I have a few cruiser buddies and having an option to ride something that doesn't need to go mach3 all the time would be nice.

Looking at VROD, Victory Vegas, Suzuki M109R, Yamaha Warrior/Raider.

I've ridden the M109R and the Vegas (Jackpot) and liked them both. Looks wise and overall I prefer the Vegas (comfy, powerful, looks, good range, and I have a dealer in town). The M109R is close behind as it has all those things but falls short on looks.

VROD has too short a range and I don't like the looks of the Warrior. Haven't found a Raider in my price point of ~$8000.

Any opinions on these, or any other options I haven't thought of?

Good alternative to Icon helmets?

I own 2 icon helmets, one for my use and second for gf use. The thing I find to hate about Icon is the way you replace the visor, it is not quick and requires some fiddling around at times.

The helmets that I do own are Icon Alliance Dark and Icon Airframe Manic

Which helmet alternatives would you suggest that are easy to swap visors and have a quick release strap

9dpiui question

So I'm 9dpiui and have been on oral progesterone. I've had some brown discharge and brown spotting today...then when I went to the restroom there was 'debris' in the toilet. Not clots, not red, but 'debris' is the only way I can describe it. Like flakes of paper. Dr Google states this can be uterine lining shedding early due to low progesterone - but I'm on oral supplements.... Oral Supps was all I had last time TTC and I don't recall this issue. Could I need MORE progesterone now? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

Depressed

Hello I've been real depressed lately and my hair is thinning more than before. My hair used to fall out a bit but it seems to have doubled in shedding. Also, I'm having alot of back acne and on the face. Does depression affect hormone levels? Does it increase androgens? Anyone ever have worser symptoms when feeling gloomy?

New to Clomid-Question

Good Morning! I just started 100mg of Clomid last night. I am trying not to think of all the side effects in hopes that I don't have any at all. However, this morning my ovaries seem ready to go! I have been having some twinges for sure. Not sure if it is directly related to the Clomid, but has this happened to anyone else while on Clomid? I really thought it would take a few pills for any side effects to happen. Im just confused now!

Can a PCOS sufferer also have ocd?

This is different from the rest. I am overweight and I am a diabetic so I am not sure if there is something obsessive or compulsion about my weight issues. On the other hand, some of my habits do follow an obsessive pattern and I do have a major fear or two. I fear eating too much and actually gaining so much weight my health problems will worsen. It doesn't seem to be a big fear but I have been heavy most of my life and now I am even heavier. I am stressed out because even though I have lost weight, I gained nearly all of it back and now I am starting all over again. I don't wish to weigh anymore than I have now and I feel like giving up even when I was in a weight loss plateau. I failed to realize that a plateau is an indication that I am doing something right and that I need to change my routine a bit. I also fear continuing to binge on food and drink. In other words, I sometimes eat mindlessly and my eating is out of control.

specific multivitamins for various PCOS ailments??

Hi Ladies,

I was actually after an all in 1 type of multivitamin for various symptoms of PCOS...but I can't seem to find any. Specifically what I'm interested in for example is like.... "multivitamin for PCOS hair loss" or "multivitamin for PCOS acne/skin problems"..."multivitamin for PCOS to help pregnancy" ....maybe.

have any of you heard of or are interested in something like that? what sort of problems do you generally encounter when looking for your own pcos products??

I got a little obsessed about something like this and started to feel passionate about making my own...especially if there's nothing good out there... :)

Pcos and 3 miscarriages no sucess

Hi,

I have my first miscarriage at age 17 i am now age 22 ever since my first miscarriage i did not get pregnant until i was 21 again on march 10th 2015, but had a miscarriage again and was bleeding for 14 days. I had a messed up period in April 20th to 25th April. in May i didn't get my period at all. but in June 15th found out i was pregnant again. on the 22nd of June found out my HCG Levels dropped from 2382 down to 300. I started bleeding 3 days later on the 25th June and stopped bleeding on July 6th. On 27th July semi bleeding since the 22nd of June. so i found out on 15th June the 3rd time i was pregnant miscarried 7 days later after i found out and was still bleeding on the 27th July almost had period for 36 days. As i was miscarrying. In August i didn't get a period at all. but got my period last month on September 29th - 4th October had period for 6 days. It seemed pretty normal to me. Next period is due on the 27th October but i am currently 2 days late but i doubt i'm pregnant as my period has been all over the place ever since i was a teenager i first got my period at the age of 8 years old. I have been with my partner for 3 years and we have only had 3 miscarriages no success and i do have PCOS apparently.. I am totally considering going to my doctor and asking to be put on Metformin. I have read so many great successful stories and it really gives me hope i just wish i could conceive with out having a miscarriage i just want to start a family with my partner. The doctor tells me that he thinks its weird as i have PCOS as i am very skinny i am 48Kg 163cm i'm not hairy i don't have acne in fact i have really nice tanned skin. So i'm pretty confused why i can not conceive without out me miscarrying. I had also been told i have a dermoid cyst on my left ovaries but its very small could this be one reason why i keep having miscarriages as well when will the day come when i can actually stay pregnant for the whole healthy 9 months. Please tell me your stories and if i should go to the doctor and ask if metformin will give me a better chance.

Should I discuss linear premium earning scale applied to my motorcycles by MM?

In another thread, I found the following table which shows the premium earning schedule for motorcycles used by TD/MM/Primmum:

  • JAN: 0.0%
  • FEB: 0.0%
  • MAR: 5.0%
  • APR: 10.0%
  • MAY: 10.0%
  • JUN: 20.0%
  • JUL: 20.0%
  • AUG: 20.0%
  • SEP: 10.0%
  • OCT: 5.0%
  • NOV: 0.0%
  • DEC: 0.0%

I switched from TD/Primmum to TD/MM this week to leverage a better group rate and earn a better discount on my premiums. I have a multi-line discount as well by including car and home in addition to the two motorcycles.

When came time to discuss premium scheduling, MM explained they will charge first and last on the initial payment and regular linear scale premiums on the remaining 11 months for the motorcycles. This goes counter to the scale published above. I would have expected premiums for the motorcycles to begin in March according to the scale above.

Furthermore, when I talked with Primmum about returning already paid premiums for unused insurance, they gave me nothing in return for the motorcycles stating the season was over, in line with the chart above.

Is there any advantage (or disadvantage) to me discussing the premium scale for the motorcycles with MM or let matters remain as they are?

Should I discuss linear premium earning scale applied to my motorcycles by MM?

Most capable motorcycles in the (reasonable insurance rates) category?

So I bought an 600F4i but let's just say the insurance ends up being ridiculous. What would be the closest bikes performance wise that would fall into the (lower risk) category of motorcycles?

CBR500R is a pig, 300's are a huge step down in capability, SV650's an Ninja 650's are still 600+cc not to mention much heavier. FZ6R's are basically a budget cut bike made from the original FZ6, not to mention detuned heavily.

What do you guys think are the best performing bikes below the supersport insurance costs?

Regularly starting your bike in winter is bad

I've seen like four people already post this season that they can't be arsed to winterize their bike, but it's okay because they'll just start it a few times a month/week to keep the battery charged. This is ineffective at best and destructive at worst, for the following reasons.

1. It doesn't actually charge the battery!

The electrical system of your average motorcycle is pretty modest. Usually, simply idling the bike will not do anything to charge the battery, at all. If you have a voltmeter, you can see this for yourself by checking voltage at the battery terminals with your bike idling, and then seeing the difference when you give it just a little gas. Some bikes will not even idle without a battery. On the other hand, starting the bike is the hardest thing the battery has to do. If you've ever had a problem with your bike that made it impossible to start (e.g. bad coil) then you may have noticed the battery runs flat pretty quick, after only a handful of start attempts. For a bike to actually charge its own battery, it usually has to be ridden for 10-15 minutes (made up number) after a start.

2. Starting a motor is the worst thing you can do to it

Of course these machines are made to be used, but you have to keep in mind that the lubrication system is not working 100% until the motor is fully warmed up. When you start a cold motor, first it has to build up oil pressure, which may take a few seconds (watch the oil pressure light if your bike is equipped with one). Until then, moving parts that have not been reach by pressurized oil are skating by on oil residue. Pretty much all bearing wear in a modern motor occurs while starting it. Then, even after the oil pump has built up maximum pressure, the farther reaches of the system are not seeing their maximum pressure - cold oil does not flow well, and "warm" oil will quickly get cooled down by parts of the motor that haven't heated up yet. Also, keep in mind that you're starting it in winter - the bike is gonna take a lot longer to heat up than when it would just be idling in your driveway in warm weather... and cranking a motor in the freezing cold is a lot more stressful on the starter, due to the oil thickening, and your cold battery being able to deliver less power.

3. Condensation

You know how cars in winter have visible water vapour coming out their tailpipes? Of course your bike does that too, but if you start the bike up and it never fully warms up, then you've just covered the interior of your exhaust system with condensation. This is a bigger deal for some exhaust systems than others - maybe you have a VFR with an expensive, plain steel collector that you have now just accelerated the process of it rotting out. If your run your motor briefly enough, you can get condensation inside the cylinders too! Ever heard of stuck piston rings?

4. Don't do it

Repeatedly starting your bike is probably better at killing your battery than charging it. Actually, one good thing about the cold weather is that it decreases the self-discharge rate of lead acid batteries. That means a better idea (if you don't want to buy a float charger/"battery tender") is to just yank the battery out of the bike and put it beside it (in case of key-off power draw from electrical faults, accessories, ECUs)... or barring that, just leaving it in the bike and not touching after a good ride.

Regularly starting your bike in winter is bad

Why winterize a bike ?

Hey guys, as winter is approaching i was thinking about winterizing my bike soon. This is my first season, I looked up some videos online about wintering a motorcycle however I don't really have the $$ and knowledge/ tools to take apart my motorcycle to clean the float bowls and other parts. My bike is carburated, I was only thinking of putting putting fresh oil & fuel stabilizer and starting the bike in my garage 2 -3 times each week for a few minutes to keep the charge on my battery during the winter. Is this going to work ? Thanks !

Toronto Raptors '15/'16 season

Here we go again! This looks like a better squad with defensive upgrades while not suffering offensively.
I'm hoping for their first 50win season, another division title and 3rd overall in the east.
This year they will also make it to the 2nd round of the playoffs.
Let's go Raps!

Possibly Pregnant?

Hey all, I don't know if this is the place to post or not... So sorry if it's in the wrong place.

Anyways first I should say that I'm not TTC but I'm also not on BCP. I'm only 21 and although it's something I've been thinking about now that I'm done with college and have a job, it's not something I have been trying for. But it wouldn't be an unwelcome surprise. So 3-4 months ago I was diagnosed with PCOS and put on progesterone (which was hell) and I finally started my period after six months and have been having a period regularly every other week (yes twice a month!) for three months. I assumed I wasn't ovulating which my doctor said generally happens when you're having a period that often but that I was just shedding my uterine lining. Anyways my partner and I do not use any sort of protection when having sex but he does pull out. Anyways we did have a mishap two weeks ago and now my period is a day late.... And it has been very regular for the past three months. I'm not having very many, if any symptoms at all. About three days after having sex that once I had a ton of discharge about that reminded me of like eggwhites (I know TMI), I've also had bad back aches for me the last few days (abnormal for me, I only have backaches on the last two days, to two days after my period) and a killer headache for the last two days as well as being extremely exhausted. But that could be related to anything. I also to a pregnancy test this morning as soon as I woke up and it came out negative.

Mostly I just wanted to hear about other peoples experiences and if other people have had periods twice a month like I do and have still ovulated. IT's just a curious situation and I want to hear others thoughts and opinions. If I found out I was pregnant, I would be very happy, but I'm also very willing to wait until I'm a little older. My doctor told me that most likely I would need to take infertility drugs when I was ready to actively TTC

Also side note I was pregnant a year ago but it ended in miscarriage, so I do know that it's possible. I'm also on Metformin (1000mg) and am currently on my week off of progesterone (100mg)

Possibly Pregnant?

IUI/trigger/ovulation question

Hi everyone,
so today I had two nice follicles (20mm and 21mm). I am triggering tonight and IUI Thursday morning. I have ovulation type cramping and nauseous which happens every time Before an IUI but this time I feel like it's happening a little early and i of course have this fear I am going to ovulate early and miss it somehow. My question is should I have intercourse tonight and/or tomorrow just to make sure I catch it or would that somehow screw up things ...hubby will give his sperm sample first thing Thursday morning. TIA

TTC tips?! Please

Hey guys. I'm 24 my gyn just told me almost a month ago I have pcos and put me on birth control. Maybe 9 days ago I skipped a day accidentally and I had sex with my boyfriend unprotected. The next day my period came really heavy for days. Boobs are super sore mood swings are crazy it's finally slowing down and is very light. My question is. Why did my body react that way to one skipped day and how hard will it be to get pregnant. Any pointers?

Qsymia?????

I have had PCOS for about 8 years well, that's when I was diagnosed. Anyway, at first I had a very hard time getting pregnant. It took 5 years of fertility treatment and then I gave up, decided to tackle weight loss so I became a vegan and voila I got pregnant. And then surprisingly after my daughter was born, 9 months later I found out I was pregnant again. Anyway, now, I want to focus on weight loss but going back to veganism has been quite the challenge. I've managed to become vegetarian again but my weight seems to be going up. I talked to my doctor today about a weight loss pill and she prescribed Qsymia. I have a history of depression and anxiety as well as a family history of substance abuse. I am really concerned about taking it because of the side effects. But I REALLY need help getting the weight off. Has anyone tried this? What was your experience? Any suggestions?

Issue... Could it be related to pregnancy? Or medication?

Hello Ladies!

My name is Shanah. I was a member here years ago (I was diagnosed with PCO in early 2002). I recently found out I am expecting, I will be 7 weeks tomorrow. I am currently taking generic prometrium (100mg) nightly. I am considered to be of advanced maternal age (I will be 35 in about a month). The past couple of days I've been experiencing increased vaginal dryness. I've never had this before. It's uncomfortable and has me worried. Everything I read says that I should be experiencing the opposite. I tend to freak out about things as Ive experience loss (5) and infertility between my daughter (age 18) and my son (age 6). I was on progesterone suppositories during the pregnancy with my son due to low levels. Before I had my 1st appointment, the nurse called prometrium in as a precaution because of my history. I don't know if this issue I am having is a dip in progesterone or low estrogen. I put a call in this morning and the nurse called me before closing and said she didn't know, but would leave a message for the dr.

my question is this... Has anyone experienced this before? Thank you for any input or advice!

3D printing?

How complicated is software for 3D printing? Is this something someone not involved with any 3D modelling could step into somewhat easily? Is there a need for some expensive software?

I was originally looking at this:
https://printm3d.com

I read some mediocre reviews and then came across this. A bit more money, but seems and sounds like a much better device:

Is 3D printing something an amateur or even less then amateur can get into or is it a specific field where you really need to study and have a serious grasp of 3D software?

Rush Hour Precautions during first week of Day Light Saving Time Change

Every year during the first week of day light savings time change in fall there is an increase of minor collisions in the GTA, while motorist get accustomed to driving in dark for the first time in the year during the rush hour times of 5-7 pm. I've gotten into minor accidents over the years during this first week and have known others getting into fender benders in cages in this week also.

This year I'm gonna put a pair of LED blinkers on my cruiser both front and back, I feel the continuous blinking of these lights definitely catch the off guard cagers attention in a sea of white and red lights. Just picked up a set from crappy tire $10 or a pair of white and red led lights, gonna put 1 pair on front handle bar and one pair on rear, not sure where perhaps on the signal lights? but I'm thinking that may distract away from my signal lights when I do indicate to change lanes. Any thoughts on this?

A Weight Loss Tool

The Mio Shape heart rate monitor is a great tool for those who want to measure their heart rate and lose weight. It is a strapless heart rate monitor and calorie counter combined in one unique unit.

In fact, this Mio watch may be just what you are looking for if you hate the thought of wearing a chest strap (standard with most heart rate monitors), want to make sure that you exercise effectively in the fat burn zone AND eat the right number of calories each day to lose weight.
Strapless Heart Rate Monitor

On the other hand, DON'T BUY a Mio heart rate watch if you are looking for continuous heart rate monitoring during your exercise session. In common with all effective strapless heart rate monitors, Mio heart rate monitors require that you pause in your activity to put your fingers on the heart rate sensors for a few seconds so that your pulse can be taken.

Of course, with the Mio shape heart rate monitor you also get the benefits of NOT having to wear a chest strap. This makes for a more comfortable workout and means you can take your heart rate throughout the day and get a heart rate reading anytime, anywhere. And, as one reviewer said, you don't have to wire yourself up like the Six Million Dollar man just to go for a jog.
Benefits of the Mio Shape Heart Rate Monitor

So what do you get when you purchase a Mio Shape heart watch? You get:-

accurate ECG heart rate measurement through fingertip touch sensors and without having to wear a chest strap (the Mio readings check out as accurate when compared to other monitors with a chest strap)
feedback on percentage of maximum heart rate based on personal input
display of calories burnt during your workout (great to keep you going for a few more calories)
calorie tracker showing calories consumed and balance remaining against your daily calorie target
modes for time and seconds, calendar, lap counting, calories and heart rate
alarm feature
MioSENSE guide to healthy living with fitness, nutritional advice and help with calorie counting
great unisex style with a sporty look and ability to change the look of your Mio heart rate monitor with optional interchangeable watch bands

[FS] Xena Disc Lock

Not sure which models it will fit but I used it on my 2005 CBR 600RR.

The world's best disc-lock design...
XENA disc-locks are the strongest, most effective and convenient-to-use anti-theft devices of their kind. Made of the highest-quality materials and incorporating high-security key and barrel, XENA disc-lock alarms are constantly evolving to offer the best protection against theft. Most models are double-locking, making them virtually impossible to remove from a motorcycle brake disc. Independent testing by government-sanctioned and insurance-industry bodies throughout Europe (Thatcham and SoldSecure in the UK, SRA and NF in France, ART in Holland) places XENA in an elite group – on the strength of its disc-lock design alone.

...With a 110dB alarm built right in.
Auto-arming and maintenance free, each XENA disc-lock alarm comes with a 110dB siren triggered by shock and motion sensors. Any move by a would-be thief to move or damage your bike (or attempts to ride off with lock in place) and your XENA sends a powerful message to look elsewhere. All alarm electronics and power source are completely independent – XENA won't drain or interfere with your motorcycle's battery – as well as serviceable and upgradable to incporporate future innovation from XENA.

Double-Locking System
What we mean by "Double-Locking"
In a conventional disc-lock, the locking-pin is the weakest point. With XENA's double-locking system, body and locking pin act as one piece of metal, making it virtually impossible to remove the lock by wedging, hammering or other methods of attack.
... And what it means for thieves
A XENA XN15 double-locking disc-lock after several minutes of brutal hammer and wedge attack from independent testers at Classe SRA France. Note that XENA's build quality and double-locking pin mean that despite the awesome force applied, the XENA remains locked.

Government and Unions.

I thought its was interesting.

http://ift.tt/1MRcTlk

This is not a Liberal bashing thread as I think all parties are pretty much the same, but should people like Liz Sandles not be held personally responsible, it just smacks of incompetence. Or is it just a perk for the union negotiators?

My kid just started High school. It would be nice to spend that money in the class room.

Maybe this guy should be handling it instead
