Hi all - did anyone have a catheter inserted (temporarily) during any point in their pregnancy?
At 19w2d, I was catheterized twice. I noticed a tiny (VERY tiny) amount of spotting the next morning when I wiped (TMI) and went to OB who said my bladder and urinary tract was probably irritated. It resolved and I didn't see anything else the rest of the day. After going for perhaps the 3rd time this morning (drinking LOADS of water), I noticed a very tiny bit again. The OB put me on antibiotics for 5 days b/c we're not sure if I have a UTI but also as a preventative b/c of the catheters. I'm just wondering if this is an experience anyone else has had. The first 24 hours after I noticed I had varies levels of burning - today it's not really burning and I feel fine otherwise.
