Hi! I truly hope someone can help me out. I was diagnosed with a cavernoma last year, so I was told I wasn't supposed to take medication like Mileva (because of the estrogen in it). I need to be careful or else the angioma in my brain will grow... it already measures 1 cm.
My gynecologist told me last week we could keep the cysts from getting bigger by using only progesterone. He said it would keep me regular. I'm thinking of taking Mileva for 3 months only in hopes the cysts vanish... Now, my question is: if I follow the progesterone only based treatment once the cysts are completely gone, will the progesterone help prevent cysts from reappearing?
Does anyone know? Any kind of input will be highly appreciated!
