For the bus expressway on Hwy 7 in Vaughan, I watched them embed some plastic pipes in the ground and some dome-shaped plastic covers on top, then some fill and the concrete for the sidewalk at the bus shelters... Attached photo.
Just curious - what are the plastic pipes and domes for? Some sort of drainage? Insulation for sidewalk heating?
