I had my TSH tested and my doctor said it was normal. Which is good but I was wondering if I should have it tested again. I am wondering if I do have a thyroid problem and they just haven't detected it yet. I am usually pretty tired even after 8 or 9 hours sleep, I'm often cold and feel jumpy, lack of periods, weight gain. Two of my cousins just got diagnosed with thyroid problems and are on medication that is really helping them. Are thyroid problems hereditary? Should I be telling my doctor this and getting them to retest me?
