Hey girls, so I've just been prescribed diane 35 and bought the generic version, brenda 35 ed. However, I'm a little apprehensive because I hear diane has higher risks for blood clots as it contains a newer ingredient, cyproterone. Add on top of that the two fold risk for clots because of the pcos, and I'm freaking out. My gynecologist said I won't develop clots because I'm active and have "thin legs" but I'm still quite scared. Can anyone that's been on diane please share an experience? Did it cause weight gain? My school formal is coming up, and while this may seem a little shallow, I really don't want to gain weight or have an acne flare up. Should I get a second opinion, or ask for a pill with less risk?
