Grinding/Clicking sound when downshifting?

Couple of days ago I started to notice some grinding sound coming from my bike, at first I though it may have been the front brake do to the amount of dust build up and all (have not washed the bike in 2-3 weeks), after power washing the front wheel the bike seemed to be okay (unless it was something i wanted to believe in). In the next couple of days I started to get grinding sound from the clutch area, specially when I downshift.

How do I downshift? Well I pull in the clutch > let go of throttle > apply rear brake (I have C-ABS) and start to slowly hit the downshift pedal down > when I'm at clost to 10-15 kmph I finally shift from 2nd into 1st and come to a stop by pulling the front brake while also applying rear brake (C-ABS)

How do I downshift when coming into a turn? Pull clutch in > reduce speed > downshift. Ones I completed the turn I upshift, unless I have low momentum and downshift 1-2 more gears down.

How do I take off? Turn throttle up to 2,4k - 2,6k rpm while letting go of the clutch and the break, ones I'm past 15-20kmph upshift from 1st to 2nd and keep moving until 4th, pretty sufficient for 60-70.

In all likelihood I may somehow messed up the gears on the clutch, possibly on highway when I think i'm in 5th and try to go up into 6th but in reality i'm in 6th as i have no gear indicator and sometimes my count is off. Or it may be something else like the chain, hopefully it's something not major.

I ride a 2013 CBR250R ABS with 13k KM on it. Any suggestions on what the issue may be and what am I looking to get it fixed roughly. (I live in GTA)
