I'd like to start by saying that I am aware that I should be doing this monitored through my MDO, but I'm not going to for various reasons I don't feel the need to discuss for now.
I'm currently on CD 24. My last cycle I managed to O on my own after getting a positive OPK on CD 23. I only tested that day because I felt weird, with light nausea. Well yesterday I felt weird again! I got all excited thinking that I might just O late but who cares, I O regularly! Except yesterday I got a negative OPK. WTF. A very faint line.
I'm wondering if it's possible that I did actually ovulate, since I felt the exact same way as last month. My breasts are starting to ache, which happened last month as well and I'm attributing it to a rise in progesterone (which would only happen if I ovulated, right??)
If I didn't ovulate yet, I'd like to start taking the Femara for 5 days. I know there's no way to be sure since I'm not temping, and especially with this dang negative OPK, but what are the risks I take by not waiting for CD 4-9 to start the Femara?
I just don't want to get drug into another long anovulatory cycle with no end in sight..thank you for any helpful comments you may have to share..
