Hi everyone, I have read through the boards about a cysts rupturing because I think that may have happened to me, and many people are saying it could be ovulation. How do you know the difference, and how do you know when it's appropriate to seek medical attention? I've been trying to conceive for a few months, and have been trying to lose weight (down 19lbs), had my first period in years about 2-3 months ago, and have now been on vitex for about 3 weeks. Last night, immediately after sex, I had the most excruciating pain I've ever felt in my life. I thought I was dying. I've felt period cramps before, but this was like period cramps on steroids. It lasted about 20 seconds, off and on, for about an hour.. then a few times this morning. No bleeding, but regular cramps and some nausea. Anyways I haven't had the intense pain for a few hours now.. but I am wondering if it's a cause for concern. If this has happened to you before, please feel free to share your comments. I feel like I could be overreacting! Thanks so much!
