Bit of a weird one but I'm hoping someone else has had this before I rush to the docs and waste their time!
Occasionally, mostly when I've been really desperate (i.e. very full bladder), I get severe internal pains after I'm done peeing. The pains are stabby, and tight, almost like a pulling sensation. Always on my right hand side, and going all the way through my body (like I can feel it in my back too). It was so bad last night that I couldn't lie down comfortably. Had to stand and "walk it off". After about 5 minutes it goes away.
I'd say they are a teeny bit higher than my ovaries, around hip level...
Has anyone had this before? I'm wondering if it could be a UTI, kidney infection, or just simply down to normal stretching / less room in there. Not sure whether it's worth a visit to the doctors, or wait for my midwife appointment in 2 weeks time.
