I wanted to ask a question. I have been taking provera and the 500 mg of metformin for sometime now. While I have a menses I have not ovulated in years. I've gone back to my OB and asked for different medication or even for an increase in Metformin, but all I was informed was to lose weight and that would help. Since then I've lost nearly 50 lbs and modified my life style. Still nothing. My question is if anyone has ever been given a prescription for Femara or Clomid through their PCP? My only other option to get the medication. I was on femara before and it worked wonders, I got pregnant my first cycle. Thanks!
