weightloss progress natural cycle and ovulation questions

I'm finishing up week 7 of a fitness journey. I hit my rock bottom and finally found the perservierence to change my life. The weight is slowly but surly coming off and Iv Never been this active before. So it's not a surprise that I finally got my period. It's been years. I know it's not healthy for me but trust me I was a different person before. I still struggle with bad habits but my head has done an about face. 💪 so I'm obviously in full batten down the hatches mode but I'm wondering does these weightloss cycles mean just a slough ing off of some of my lining? Or did I actually ovulate? And do the hormones/chemicals stored in the fat cells I burned have anything to do with the cycle or was it simply the healthy diet/exercise and weightloss? Also am I the only one that just freaking HATES this? Like I could never understand how other women did this every month... seriously... EVERY freaking month.... 😨 it's exhausting
