Hi ladies!
I'm new here. I'm 39 yrs old and a mother to 3 kids, 20yrs, 15 yrs,& 12 yrs. I'm surprised I've never had issues conceiving. I've always had really irregular periods and my bleeding was always horrible, sometimes I would bleed for weeks at a time.
I was just diagnosed with PCOS by my PCP. I knew something was going on... I just didn't know WHAT was going on. I've had a really hard time losing weight... No matter what I did. Then I noticed I started growing black patch of hair on my chin.(I've never been hairy ). I just thought maybe it was hormonal?? Then I started having a lot of cramping. I haven't had a visit from AF for months.
my PCP ordered a transvaginal ultrasound. Results came back with multiple cyst on both ovaries with the largest being on the right side at 2 cm.
I have an appt with a Gynecologist tomorrow and that will start the process. My question is...
Has the cyst caused you pain? I've been in so much pain this last week. Only on the right side. I feel like someone is in there just twisting my ovary! It wakes me up at night! My appointment wasn't suppose to be until 10-12 but I got it moved up.
i have no idea what to expect from this point on... This is all new to me 😕
