I was diagnosed with PCOS back in 2004. Since then, I have had one doctor after another. I was able to conceive naturally after losing weight. The issue I have now is that with my second pregnancy, I developed gestational diabetes. I was fine after delivery and took depo, then switched to mirena iud when I gained 30 lbs. I started going through menopause while breast feeding and gained weight instead of losing. I was 230lbs before pregnancy and now am 283. I have removed the mirena and now have parguard. Its been a month and I have barely lost 5 pounds. The smallest I have been in my adult life is 210lbs which I long for now. I am tall, and able to hide my weight pretty well, but I now have a new list of issues from the weight gain. I am afraid that I might have full blown diabetes now because I cant lose any weight even with diet and exercise. Tomorrow morning I have an appoint with my general practitioner. Do you think I should see an endo just in case? I don't know what to do and feel trapped in my body. Please help
