Hello everyone!
Here is my story and some of my concerns/questions:
In May 2015 I found out I have PCOS after trying to conceive for almost 2 years. I had VERY irregular periods. I started a cycle of progesterone to trigger my period and also started taking metformin (even though my insulin levels are great). I took an ovulation test after taking progesterone (because I never got a period) and wanted to see if I was ovulating. Sure enough I WAS OVULATING!!
Then I decided on a whim to take a pregnancy test. I saw POSITIVE. I have been well aquatinted with negative tests, so I knew that is was positive. I then scheduled an appointment with my OBGYN/Nurse Midwife and sure enough I tested positive there too. My bloodwork came back and said I was about 7 weeks at the time. I then miscarried right around the time of our first ultrasound at 10 weeks (baby was developed to 8 weeks), June 2015. We have since been trying to conceive again. I know that God is working miracles every second of every day, and I know that NOTHING is impossible with him!
I naturally miscarried, and ever since then Ive been having regular periods (about 30 days apart), and am still taking metformin, as well as Pre-natal with pro and pre-biotics.
Recently Ive noticed Ive become sensitive to certain foods; dairy and bread. I dont consume these regularly and I eat a high protein diet with lots of veggies and some fruit, nuts, etc. I very rarely consume any processed foods. I have also been having really weird chest pain, heart palpitations (feels like my heart is racing) tightness and general discomfort in my chest. Ive also been having some acid reflux, burping, constipation, bloating. I exercise regularly, do yoga, and we have a farm so I am very active day-to-day.
My questions is. Does anyone else have these symptoms? Is this normal? Should I be feeling like this? Is it possible that I have thyroid issues? They were tested before I miscarried, maybe I should get my levels re-checked?
Any help is appreciated! Im trying to figure out what the heck is going on with my body!
