Pain?

I am currently 18 years old, diagnosed with PCOS when I was about 13. I had a grapefruit-sized cyst attached to my ovary when I was 13 and got it removed laproscopically when I found a surgeon that was not hesitant to perform the surgery without taking the whole fallopian tube out. I have been taking a lower-estrogen oral contraception for many years, and have started taking 1,000 mg of Metformin daily along with 5,000 ius of vitamin D and 50 mg of vyvanse daily. Started going to a reproductive endocrinologist and she helped me understand the condition. I have very extremely painful periods along with bad cramps, so because of this I take my oral contraception continuously for 3 months, so I only get my period 4 times a year now. The pain I experience (not cramps) is a sharp pain on my left side (same side I got the cyst taken off). This pain did not exist until years after the surgery. The endo told me that the pain is most likely caused from the scar tissue from the surgery and that its triggered during ovulation or menstruation, but I am not 100% if I believe that. It used to only come up before and during my period, but since beginning the continuous birth control, I experience the pain randomly and sometimes constantly now. It is a sharp, pulsing pain. Any ideas or treatments? Does anyone else experience another type of pain along with cramps?

Aside from this, I also may have a slightly herniated disk and/or irritated nerve between my L5 and S1 which causes lower back pain on the left side. This may or may not be going down to my leg yet; I am still hesitant to say. Do you think this issue could trigger the ovarian pain in my left ovary? Trying to connect my multiple health issues :/

I would appreciated any similar experiences! Fight on
