I was diagnosed with PCOS almost year ago. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 2 years now. I have done 6 rounds of Clomid ( before being diagnosed with PCOS) and never conceived. Was refered to a fertility specialist (where I found out I had PCOS and put on Metformin) and I just finished round 4 of Clomid ( this round was my first 200 mg round) and I didn't conceive this round either. I know I'm on round 4 ( with Metformin) and sometimes it takes 6 rounds, but I am getting frustrated already. It just seems like the Clomid isnt working for me. My progestrone levels have not changed much and I am not conceiving ( even with taking 2000 mg of Metformin daily). I'm thinking about asking the doctor about stopping the Clomid and starting Fermera. I even thought about asking about doing injectibles with an IUI. The only thing is with the injectibles and IUI, the cost is more ( and it's not guaranteed that I will conceive). I'm just frustrated with it. I'm tired of taking Clomid and all the side effects that I expereince and I get nothing out of it (I'm not conceiving). Has anyone gone through this and switched to Femera and it worked for you? Or has anyone done the injectibles and it worked for you. I just need a little bit of encouragement and some advice on what to do. Thanks so much in advance!
