Hi,
I am newly diagnosed with PCOS but am average weight (5'6" and 125 lbs). I historically have about 3-4 ovulations/periods per year. We plan to start TTC in February.
I'm wondering about natural ways to induce ovulation. My doctor doesn't want to use Metformin because I have a tendency toward blood sugar drops, and if we can, I'd rather use natural options than pharmaceuticals. Some of the things I've been reading about are Vitex (I already take FertilAid), Myo-inositol, Maca, and Vitamin D (I currently take 2000 iu/day).
Do any of you have advice on this? Are any of those good options that you've had success with? Do you have other natural remedies that have worked for you to "encourage" more frequent ovulation? Thank you in advance!
