After trying for a year I started taking dci tablets again and within that month became pregnant. I was wracked with uncertainty and what to do next because it seemed that it was due to the dci that I became pregnant. There is no definitive advice on whether to keep taking it or not. There are contradictory thoughts on the matter. GPs in the UK have never heard of dci. I contacted several gynaecologists who all said they didn't know enough to comment. One said that she'd seen a study where women continued with dci to 12 weeks successfully, so I tried that. Sadly I miscarried at 11 weeks. Now I don't know what to do if I become pregnant again.
Please tell me if you continued or didn't and what your experience was? My fear was that if I stop taking it, the same hormonal problems will come back and will lead to miscarriage. It's an impossible decision to make.
